Alan Naumann, President and CEO
Alan Naumann is president and CEO of CoWare, Inc. He joined the company in 2002 and has led the company to become the market leader in electronic system-level (ESL) design tools. In his 20 years in the high-tech industry, Alan has held roles as CEO, vice president, and general manager within leading EDA software, Internet and computer companies, including Cadence Design Systems, Calico Commerce, and Hewlett Packard. During his ten years at Cadence, he played key roles in growing the company from a small, niche player into the industry leader with annual revenues in excess of a billion dollars. During Naumann's tenure as VP and GM of the Cadence Alta Group, the group became the leading player in the market for next-generation systems design tools, and the fastest-growing business unit within Cadence. Under Naumann's leadership, Calico Commerce was recognized as the 14th fastest-growing company in Silicon Valley, and had the 6th best IPO in the history of the NASDAQ. Naumann was elected by his peers to serve as vice chairman of the EDA Consortium (EDAC) board of directors. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Software Development Forum, a non-profit group dedicated to fostering the software industry, entrepreneurism, and new company formation in Silicon Valley. |

Karl Van Rompaey, Chief Technical Officer Co-founder Karl Van Rompaey has served as Chief Technology Officer of the company since May 1998 and managed Engineering since co-founding the company in 1996. Prior to joining CoWare, Mr. Van Rompaey was manager of the research team that developed the CoWare technology at IMEC in Belgium from 1990 to 1996. He was also a founder of Electronic and Software Innovation, a company in Belgium building embedded systems for automation of production processes. |

Dr. Heinrich Meyr, Chief Scientist Dr. Heinrich Meyr serves as CoWare's Chief Scientist and Chairman of its Technical Advisory Board. Dr. Meyr received his M.S and Ph.D. from ETH Zurich, Switzerland. He spent over 12 years in various research and management positions in industry before accepting a professorship in Electrical Engineering at Aachen University of Technology (RWTH Aachen) where he founded (and is now a co-director) the Institute for Integrated Signal Processing System (http://www.iss.rwth-aachen.de). He built this institute into one of the internationally-leading research institutions. During the last thirty years, Dr. Meyr has worked extensively in the areas of communication theory, digital signal processing and CAD tools for system-level design. He has published numerous IEEE papers and holds many patents. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and has received two IEEE best paper awards. In 2000, Dr. Meyr was the recipient of the prestigious Vodafone prize for his outstanding contribution in the area of wireless communications. He was a co-founder of CADIS GmbH (acquired in 1993 by Synopsys) a company which commercialized the tool suite COSSAP. Most recently, he co-founded LISATek Inc., which was acquired by CoWare in February 2003.

Scott Kleinberg, Chief Financial Officer
With over 17 years of related experience with technology companies and in
public accounting, Scott Kleinberg is the chief financial officer of CoWare
and responsible for worldwide accounting and financial management for the company.
Before joining CoWare, Mr. Kleinberg held executive positions with MontaVista
Software, Lutris Technologies and Live Picture, each enterprise software companies.
His recent experience has centered on developing and growing finance and operations
for these companies. Mr. Kleinberg also held financial management positions
with a semiconductor startup and at Electronics for Imaging, a publicly-traded
company, and spent seven years with KPMG Peat Marwick in their high technology
practice in San Jose. He holds an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University's
Leavey School of Business and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from
Westmont College. Mr. Kleinberg is a member of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants and is an elected board member of the Campbell Union School
District. |

Eshel Haritan, Vice President, Engineering Mr. Haritan is vice president of engineering. He joined CoWare as part of the recent alliance agreement with Cadence in September 2003. Haritan joined the Alta Group of Cadence in 1996. At Cadence, he managed the SPW product line engineering, and since January 2000, he managed the Cadence System-Level Design group engineering, including SPW, VCC, NC-SystemC and Test Builder. He joined Motorola Semiconductors Israel in 1985 and for more than 10 years developed layout, synthesis and simulation tools for internal use. |

Allen Spence, Vice President, Worldwide
Services
Mr. Spence joined CoWare as vice president of worldwide services in August 2006.
With more than 25 years experience in consulting services at Cadence Design
Systems, Andersen Consulting, and in private practice, Spence is known for driving
sales and successful marketing strategies, and for developing sound business
practices and processes that increased revenues and profit margins. His experience
in many industries gives him a thorough understanding of the fundamental factors
required for businesses to perform with excellence. Spence holds a B.A. and
an M.B.A. in Corporate Finance from the University of Missouri.

Sally Shepard, Vice President, Human Resources Ms. Shepard joined CoWare as vice president of human resources in January 2004. She has more than 20 years experience in technology and professional services companies. Prior to joining CoWare she was a human resources management consultant providing organizational development, compensation and executive level support with a variety of companies. She was the VP of Human Resources for Lutris Technologies, a startup software company and prior to that was the VP of Corporate Human Resources for Exponent, Inc., a publicly held engineering consulting firm. Earlier in her career she held management roles in engineering, IT and human resources with subsidiaries of Exponent, Inc. Ms. Shepard has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Stanford University. |

Marc Serughetti, Vice President Marketing & Business Development - Software
Marc Serughetti is co-managing marketing and business development.
He joined CoWare in 2004 to drive CoWare's strategy and solutions into the software
development markets and over time assumed responsibilities for other CoWare products.
Prior to joining CoWare. Mr. Serughetti held several marketing management positions
in high-growth embedded software companies such as Wind River Systems Inc. and
Integrated Systems Inc,. He brings more than 14 years of experience in embedded
software technologies and vertical market marketing. Mr. Serughetti holds an
M.S.from the University of Washington (Seattle) and a Engineering degree from
the National Superior School of Aeronautical Engineering (ENSICA, France). |

Dr. Johannes Stahl, Vice President Marketing & Business Development - Design Tools
Dr. Johannes Stahl is co-managing marketing and business development.
He joined CoWare in 2004 to run the SPW business and over time assumed product
management and business development responsibilities for other CoWare products.
Prior to joining CoWare, Dr. Stahl was leading system-level design marketing
in Synopsys. Before that he spent 10 years as a services manager in Synopsys
managing a world-class design team for communication chip design services projects
serving major semiconductor companies in consumer chip markets such as cell phones
and set-top boxes. Dr. Stahl holds Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. Degrees in Electrical
Engineering from Aachen

Mike Faust, Vice President, Sales - North America & Europe
Mike Faust brings more than 17 years of experience in building and leading professional, high performing sales teams to his role as Vice President of Sales. In this role, he is responsible for all sales and applications engineering in North and South America, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Faust comes to CoWare from his position as Vice President of Worldwide Sales at electronic design automation start-up, ReShape. Previously, he held the position of Director of Global Account Sales at design automation leader Cadence Design Systems where his team was responsible for selling all software and services to the company's top U.S., Japanese and European major accounts. Faust has consistently lead his teams to high levels of sales performance. His passion for customers, his team, and his company have produced strong relationships, measurable customer success and large, long-term agreements worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Faust holds a M.B.A. from Santa Clara University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. |

Seyul Choe, Vice President, Asia Pacific Operations
Mr. Seyul Choe began working with CoWare in January 2005 as vice president of
Asia Pacific Operations. Prior to joining CoWare, Mr. Choe spent three years
as vice president of Asia Pacific for 0-In Design Automation (now part of Mentor
Graphics) where he was responsible for Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan and India
field sales. Prior to 0-In Design Automation, Mr. Choe was COO and president
of nTool Corporation which provides network solutions for semiconductor supply
chain companies. Mr. Choe spent four years as president of Cadence Korea, Ltd.
and eight years as president of Synopsys Korea, Inc.
Mr. Choe has a B.S. in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University.

Nobuyuki Imamura, President, CoWare KK
Mr. Imamura joined CoWare as president of CoWare KK in April 2008. Prior
to joining CoWare, Mr. Imamura was most recently vice president at Empirix, Inc
and president at Empirix KK. He started the subsidiary from scratch and grew
it to 40 employees strong while generating over $16M in annual revenue. Prior
to Empirix, Mr. Imamura was the president of Aspect Development KK and he also
worked at Cadence Design Systems as sales director. Mr. Imamura has also held
executive positions at Teradyne and Keyware Solutions. Nobuyuki Imamura is a
graduate of the engineering school at Keio University in Japan. |
