CoWare, Inc. develops tools and methodologies that enable engineering teams to cut their SoC design times in half. At CoWare, we are building a company that is "built to last" in terms of our product, our customers, and our company culture. CoWare is guided by these seven central themes that bind us together to foster a unique work environment.
- Hire the Best - Small teams of great people are better than large teams of mediocre people. CoWare wants to attract and retain the best employees. People are our greatest asset.
- Personal Integrity - Everything starts with our behavior as individuals. The most important characteristic we have to offer others is our word. Integrity is about walking our talk and accepting responsibility for our decisions and their consequences.
- Teamwork - Success is measured by creating a win-win situation. CoWare creates a supportive atmosphere where individuals help each other succeed. We show respect for individuals and for their ideas. We strongly believe in promoting individual development and achievement in a team environment.
- Risk Taking - We want to push the envelope of what is possible in terms of our product, how we deliver our product and the way we run the company. CoWare will continue to push for excellence in terms of quality, productivity and service.
- Problem Solving - CoWare anticipates problems whenever possible and take preventive action. It is critical that issues get addressed as they surface. Seldom does an unresolved issue get better with age.
- Quality - Quality is meeting and exceeding our internal and
external customers' expectations.
- Pay/Performance - We have high standards and high expectations for our employees. All elements of our compensation plan are linked to performance. Performance management is all about what we accomplish and how we accomplish it.
These are the central themes underlying our company culture. We
start with great people, demand integrity, require teamwork, encourage
risk-taking and resolve issues quickly. Finally, we pay based upon
company performance and individuals making high quality contributions,
both in terms of what they get done and how they get it done.
